Ingredient List

Makes 15 serves - serving size 80g

  • 3 cups whole rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup walnuts
  • 3/4 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup buckwheat groats
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp LSA powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 150 grams ur gut®

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celcius fan-forced.
  • Roughly chop the walnuts and almonds. Combine all dry ingredients and ur gut® into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add all wet ingredients to a small saucepan and slowly heat until the mixture comes together and is thoroughly combined.
  • Pour over the dry ingredients and combine. Line two baking trays with baking paper and add the granola mixture. The granola should be around half an inch thick.
  • Bake for roughly 30 minutes undisturbed until golden brown. Turn the trays halfway through baking.
  • Let the granola completely cool and then break apart with a steel spatula. Store in an airtight container.

Notes:

Cool completely: let the granola cool fully before breaking it up - that’s what gives you those good clusters, so don’t rush it.

Use fresh ingredients: if possible, use fresh nuts and seeds for better flavour and texture. If you’re planning to add dried fruit, mix it through after baking so it stays soft.

Store properly: keep it in an airtight container to lock in freshness and crunch.
